Rodent signs & seal-ups
Recognize possible activity and understand the role of prevention.
Recognizing possible rodent activity
Droppings around food packages, in cupboards or under the sink, together with gnawed packaging or openings, can be clues to rodent activity. These signs need assessment; they do not identify the full problem on their own.
Note where and when you see evidence, keep food in closed containers, and tell us about previous treatments and concerns about bait or trap placement.
What seal-ups can—and cannot—do
Managing current activity and addressing entry points serve different purposes. An inspection helps identify obvious openings and contributing conditions. Recommendations depend on the property’s construction and condition.
Seal-up services are quoted separately for each home’s needs. The number, size, location and accessibility of openings affect the work involved.
Seal-ups are a preventive measure to close obvious entry points identified during inspection. They do not guarantee mice cannot enter or find new entry points. Monitoring, appropriate treatment and attention to contributing conditions may still be needed.
